Biography

Dr. Mohsen Farhadpour is an Iranian phytochemist and Assistant Professor at the Department of Plant Bio-products, National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB), Tehran, Iran. He earned his PhD in Phytochemistry from Beheshti University in 2017 and completed sabbatical research training in pharmacology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. His research focuses on phytochemical analysis of natural products, discovery and sequencing of cyclic and linear peptides, chromatographic separation techniques, and purification of bioactive compounds from natural sources. Dr. Farhadpour has extensive expertise in HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS, MALDI-TOF, peptide sequencing, and analytical chemistry. He has authored numerous scientific publications in phytochemistry, chromatography, pharmacology, and medicinal plant research, with significant contributions to natural product chemistry, anticancer bioassays, peptide science, and bioactive compound purification.

Research Interest

High throughput phytochemical analysis of natural products, discovery and sequencing of new cyclic and linear peptides from natural sources, developing new stationary phases for separation of polar peptides and polar compounds, purification of bioactive compounds from natural sources.
