Biography
Dr. Nasser Majnoun Hosseini is a distinguished Professor at the University of Tehran, Iran. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (OGPA 18.6/20) from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, Hyderabad, India (1979–1982), followed by a Master of Science in Agronomy (OGPA 18.4/20) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India (1983–1984). He later pursued his Ph.D. in Agronomy at the University of Reading, United Kingdom (1994–1997). In 2005, Dr. Hosseini undertook a six-month sabbatical at the University of Western Australia and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Perth, Australia, where he further expanded his research expertise. His primary research interests focus on food legume and medicinal crop production, with an emphasis on sustainable agricultural practices and crop improvement. Dr. Hosseini has made significant contributions to the advancement of agronomic research and continues to inspire students and researchers in the field of agricultural sciences.
