Biography
I am working as Senior Geologist in Geological Survey of India (GSI), Kolkata, India. I am completed having more than 13 years of experiences in the field of Mapping and 5 years’ experience of Engineering Geology, particularly in slope stability of cut slope as well as dumps slope. I am having more than 20 published papers in engineering geology and mineral exploration. I am also acting as associate editor and reviewer in number of international and national journals. Currently I am handing high end instrument named 3D TLS and also associated with running project of InSAR techniques. I am also associated with Development of site-specific landslide forecasting model covering Geotechnical investigation along with DGRE. I am also working with high end Slope stability software (Midas Soil works and GTS NX 2D and 3D). My research interests are slope stability of hill slope, road cut and dump slope.
