Biography
Dr. Rajesh Pasricha is a senior Radiation Oncologist with more than 22 years of experience in clinical oncology, teaching, research, and hospital administration. He is currently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Radiotherapy at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal. He previously worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh, where he played a key role in establishing and developing the Radiation Oncology department. He has also held senior academic and clinical positions at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, and leading cancer centers across India. Dr. Pasricha completed his MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College and earned his DNB in Radiotherapy from M.D. Oswal Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, Ludhiana. He also holds a PG Diploma in Hospital Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. His expertise includes advanced radiation techniques such as IGRT, IMRT, Rapid Arc, SBRT, adaptive radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and proton therapy. He has received international fellowships and training from institutions in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Singapore, and the United States. Dr. Pasricha has authored more than 80 scientific publications in national and international journals and has led multiple research projects funded by ICMR and other organizations. His work focuses on improving cancer treatment outcomes, quality of life, precision radiotherapy, and the integration of artificial intelligence in oncology.
