The Journal International Journal of Nursing Science Management & Patient Care of is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious ethical violation and is strictly prohibited. The journal ensures that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated for originality and authenticity before they proceed to the peer review stage.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct copying of text, ideas, images, or data from other sources without proper citation
  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of existing work without appropriate acknowledgment
  • Self-plagiarism, including reuse of previously published content without disclosure
  • Duplicate or redundant publication of the same research findings

All authors are expected to submit original and unpublished work that has not been submitted or published elsewhere.

Plagiarism Screening Process

To ensure the integrity of published research, all manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo plagiarism detection using reliable screening tools.

  • Manuscripts with a high similarity index or evidence of copied content will be rejected immediately
  • Minor similarity due to common terminology or properly cited references may be acceptable at the discretion of the editorial board.
  • Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit manuscripts if similarity issues are identified at an early stage

The editorial team reserves the right to take appropriate action if plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, including after publication.

Policy on AI-Generated Content

The journal recognizes the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in academic writing; however, clear guidelines must be followed to maintain originality and scientific integrity:

  • AI-generated research content is strictly not allowed. Manuscripts must be based on genuine, original research conducted by the authors.
  • Authors must not submit content that is wholly or substantially generated by AI tools without human intellectual contribution.
  • AI tools may be used only for language refinement, grammar correction, or improving clarity of original content.
  • The core ideas, data analysis, interpretations, and conclusions must be entirely the work of the authors.

The use of AI tools should not compromise the authenticity, accuracy, or originality of the research.

Author Responsibilities

Authors submitting to the journal must:

  • Ensure that their work is completely original
  • Properly cite and acknowledge all sources of information
  • Provide references for all borrowed ideas, data, or text
  • Avoid any form of plagiarism or unethical writing practices
  • Disclose if any part of the manuscript has been previously published or presented

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

If plagiarism or unethical practices are identified, the journal may take the following actions:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript
  • Notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions
  • Blacklisting of authors for future submissions
  • Retraction of already published articles
  • Public notification of ethical violations, if necessary

These measures are taken to maintain the credibility and integrity of the journal and the scientific record.
