Biography
Gustavo A. R. Passos is a Research Associate in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Miami, USA. He holds an MD from Marilia School of Medicine, Brazil, and completed a Neurosurgery Residency at Hospital Celso Pierro, PUC Campinas, Brazil. Dr. Passos has extensive fellowship and certification experience, including Skull Base, Epilepsy, and Neuro-oncology fellowships in Brazil and the USA. He also holds certifications as a Medical Assistant and Surgical Assistant in the United States and a postgraduate certification in the endocannabinoid system and medical cannabis. His research and clinical interests include neuro-oncology, skull base surgery, epilepsy, neurovascular procedures, microsurgery, neuroscience, medical education, biosecurity, and laboratory procedures.
