Biography
Dr. Guoxiong Xu is a Scientist, Professor of Oncology, and Director of Center Laboratory in Jinshan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai, China. He obtained his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Shanghai Second Medical University (China), a Master degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Research from Free University of Brussels (Belgium), and a PhD degree in Biology from York University (Canada). Dr. Xu is a molecular and cellular biologist and has a proven track record on cancer biology and the TGF-β signaling pathway. Dr. Xu has teaching experience in the areas of Molecular Biology of Cancer, Cell Biology, and Histology etc. for undergraduate and graduate students. His research works are supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Committee of Science and Technology, and Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau, etc
