Biography

Dr. Gilbert Ndeh Doh is a Biomedical Scientist and Research Scientist with interdisciplinary expertise in microbiology, molecular biology, genomics, immunology, and anatomical pathology. He earned his Ph.D. in Anatomical Pathology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, following an M.Sc. in Medical Bacteriology and Virology from the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon. Dr. Doh currently serves as a Biomedical Scientist at the Regional Hospital Bafoussam under the Ministry of Public Health, Cameroon, and as a Research Scientist at the Centre for the Study and Control of Communicable Diseases, University of Yaoundé I. He has also contributed to internationally funded clinical research projects, including the AIDS and Malignancy Consortium (AMC-099) and the NIH-supported HPV Pavilion Project, with responsibilities in biospecimen management, HPV genotyping, and clinical data management. His research focuses on the molecular epidemiology of human papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cancer, host-pathogen interactions, epigenetic biomarkers, and infectious diseases in Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. Doh has authored several peer-reviewed publications, presented his work at international scientific conferences, and serves as a reviewer for leading journals in oncology and gynecology. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS), and the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM).
