Biography

Dr. Swaran Jeet Singh Flora is a renowned Indian toxicologist and pharmaceutical scientist with over 45 years of experience in chemical toxicology, drug development, and biochemical pharmacology. He is the former Director of NIPER Raebareli and former additional-charge Director of NIPER Mohali. Currently, he serves as Honorary Director and Dean at Era Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lucknow, and Adjunct Professor at Manipal University. Dr. Flora is widely recognized for developing the indigenous anti-arsenic drug MiADMSA and for his extensive research on metal toxicity, oxidative stress, nanoparticles, and chelation therapy. He has published over 380 scientific works, edited several international books, guided 29 PhD scholars, and holds multiple patents in toxicology and pharmaceutical sciences.
