Biography
Dr. Syeda Masooma Ali is a pharmaceutical scientist specializing in pharmacognosy, with a focus on the pharmacological and ethnomedicinal properties of medicinal plants. She earned her PhD and M.Phil in Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, where her research explored the therapeutic potential of Artemisia roxburghiana and Curcuma longa. She also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) from Riphah International University, Islamabad. Dr. Ali has experience as a pharmacist, teaching assistant, and lecturer, contributing to both academic instruction and research in natural product pharmacology. She is dedicated to advancing knowledge of medicinal plants and their applications in modern pharmacy.
