Biography
Dr. Mehdi Mousavi-Kamazani is an Associate Professor of Nanotechnology at Semnan University, Iran, specializing in nanochemistry, quantum dots, and hybrid nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications. He completed his B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry at Kurdistan University (2006–2010), followed by an M.Sc. (2010–2012) and Ph.D. (2012–2016) in Nano Science & Technology – Nanochemistry at the University of Kashan. His doctoral research focused on the synthesis and characterization of ternary and quaternary chalcogenide semiconductor quantum dots for photovoltaic applications. Following his Ph.D., he pursued a postdoctoral fellowship (2017–2018) at the University of Kashan, developing novel hybrid photocatalytic systems based on transition metal oxide/sulfide heterostructures for environmental remediation and energy conversion. Dr. Mousavi-Kamazani’s research bridges fundamental nanochemistry and applied nanotechnology, contributing to innovative solutions in energy and environmental sciences.
