Research Interest

Wojciech J. Stępniowski’s research interests are focused on fabrication, characterization and applications of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO). One of the major activities of the research is finding new operating conditions for anodization of aluminum, leading to the hexagonally arranged nanoporous arrays formation. Additionally, the research are also focused on the incorporation of various anions into the AAO, what allows to form hybrid luminescent materials. Also various tools, employing i.e. fast Fourier transform (FFT) to quantify the arrangement of AAO are being applied.
