Biography
Dr. Sanjeev Rambharose, PhD is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiological Sciences, Faculty of Science, at Stellenbosch University. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics from University of KwaZulu-Natal and has extensive academic and research experience across pharmaceutical sciences, physiology, and biomedical sciences. Prior to joining Stellenbosch University, he served as a Senior Lecturer at University of Cape Town and as a Lecturer in the Discipline of Physiology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Dr. Rambharose is an NRF-rated researcher, Fellow of the DHET Future Professors Programme, and recipient of several research and publication awards. He actively contributes to postgraduate supervision, international research collaborations, peer review, and scholarly publishing, while providing leadership in multidisciplinary biomedical research and higher education.

Nanomedicine, advanced drug delivery, lipid nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles, metallic nanoparticles, hybrid nanocarriers, green nanotechnology, targeted drug delivery systems, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, diabetes and metabolic disorders, inflammatory diseases, HIV and tuberculosis, Long COVID, biosensors, organ on chip systems, blood brain barrier models, vascular on chip platforms, pulmonary on chip systems, precision medicine, biomedical engineering, translational biomedical research, higher education research, postgraduate supervision, curriculum development, and health professions education.
