Biography

Dr. K. Rajeshwari is a distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi, with over 27 years of clinical experience in General Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases. Her work is especially notable in the fields of pediatric diarrhea and HIV, where she has significantly contributed to clinical research and patient care. A committed medical educator, Dr. Rajeshwari has over 24 years of teaching experience across undergraduate, postgraduate, and diplomate medical programs. She is also deeply involved in research, with a focus on antibiotic resistance in enteropathogenic E. coli and its genetic profiling through Whole Genome Sequencing. Dr. Rajeshwari holds an MD in Pediatrics and has completed her PhD in Microbiology. She is a certified core trainer in HIV Medicine and has been affiliated with prestigious institutions such as the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and the University of Washington. Her leadership, extensive contributions to pediatric infectious diseases, and active involvement in national health programs make her an invaluable asset to the field. She continues to drive advancements in child health and infectious disease management through education, research, and clinical excellence.
