Biography
Dr. Mohamed Salah Abbassi is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at the Institute of Veterinary Research of Tunisia (IRVT), Tunis. He earned his PhD in Microbiology from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis and has over two decades of experience in microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, food safety, and One Health research. Dr. Abbassi has authored more than 150 scientific publications in leading international journals and serves as an editor, associate editor, and reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, molecular epidemiology, zoonotic pathogens, food microbiology, and bacterial genomics. He is an active member of several national and international scientific organizations and has made significant contributions to advancing microbiological research and public health.
