Biography

Dr Junxin Zhao is an Associate Professor at the College of Food and Pharmacy, Xuchang University, China. He received his PhD in Food Science and Engineering from Nanchang University and completed joint doctoral research at Kyushu University, Japan. His research focuses on food microbiology, food safety, enzyme biotechnology, antimicrobial agents, bacteriophages, endolysins, microbial lipases, biocatalysis, biofilm control, and functional food applications. He has authored numerous peer reviewed publications in leading international journals and has served as a principal investigator and collaborator on several nationally funded research projects. His work aims to develop innovative biotechnological approaches for improving food quality, safety, and sustainable food processing.
