Biography
Dr Olga Burduniuc is Deputy Director of the National Agency for Public Health, Republic of Moldova, and a Senior Researcher at Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She holds a PhD and Habilitation in Medical Sciences with expertise in microbiology, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, biosafety, biosecurity, and public health laboratory systems. Dr Burduniuc has authored more than 200 scientific publications and holds 11 patents. She serves as President of the Moldovan Association for Biosafety and Biosecurity, National Focal Point for GLASS and CAESAR, and Editor in Chief of the journal One Health and Risk Management. Her research focuses on laboratory diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance surveillance, One Health, and strengthening public health systems.
