Biography
Dr. John Olusoji Abiola is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) in Swine Medicine, and PhD in Veterinary Medicine (Swine Medicine) from the University of Ibadan. He is a Fellow of the College of Veterinary Surgeons of Nigeria (FCVSN). His research focuses on swine health, African swine fever, veterinary epidemiology, molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases, livestock biosecurity, veterinary public health, zoonotic diseases, animal welfare, ethnoveterinary medicine, and One Health. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has contributed extensively to veterinary education, clinical services, and livestock disease control in Nigeria.
