Biography
Dr. Ying Yan is a distinguished physician, professor, and Ph.D. supervisor at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As the fifth-generation main inheritor of Ha’s Gynecology in Tianjin, she specializes in gynecological endocrine disorders, with deep expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diminished ovarian reserve, polycystic ovary syndrome, and menopausal syndrome using traditional Chinese medicine. Dr. Yan has led a major national research project in China, contributed to two guideline revision projects under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and participated in over 20 research projects at various levels. She has published nearly 100 papers in core journals, advancing both clinical practice and academic research in gynecology and traditional Chinese medicine. She holds a Ph.D. (2009–2012) and a Master’s degree (2001–2005) in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Gynecology from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and completed further education in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital (2007–2008). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1991–1996).

Gynecological endocrine disorders, PCOS, diminished ovarian reserve, menopausal syndrome, and TCM-based treatments.
