Biography
With a background in general neurology, for about 25 years he is taking care of patients with different neurological diseases .Currently he is head of neurology, neurophysiology, and internal medicine departments in Damascus hospital. His primary areas of interest is MS, epilepsy and stroke. He mentors young doctors in their training in neurology residency, with more than 250 completed speciality dissertations under my supervision(>1/2 Syrian Neurologist). He had the privilege to serve in the Organizing and/or Scientific Advisory Committees of several regional and Mediterranean Congresses. He is the president of PAUNS congress 2010-Damascus. Considering education as a major commitment, He is the Syrian coordinator with the WFN-CME, Since it's establishment in early 2003. He arranged more than 35 courses, of different topics of Continuum, which rotate several times in all regions of Syria(train of sceince).
