Biography
He is currently the co-principle investigator with Dr Grotta of a phase 2b NIH-sponsored randomized 3-arm multicenter clinical research trial – the Argatroban tPA stroke study (ARTSS-2). This study is also the focus of a NIH K12 training/career mentoring grant under the mentoring of Dr. Jon Tyson. He is also the medical director of the department’s neurovascular ultrasound laboratory. He directly oversee the education of all stroke fellows as it pertains to the use of non-invasive imaging for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of stroke patients.
