Biography

Dr. Park is currently a Clinical Instructor in Cardiovascular Medicine (department of Cardiac Electrophysiology) at Stanford University Medical Center and the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Harvard University, and earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency, cardiovascular medicine fellowship (serving as Chief Fellow), and cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Stanford University. While at Stanford, Dr. Park was awarded post-doctoral research fellowships from both the NIH (Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Award) and the American Heart Association (Western Affiliates) to study the potential for using light to activate and inhibit cardiac cell function. Dr. Park’s clinical interests are in all aspects of electrophysiology, including catheter ablation and device implantation and management. She performs catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia, as well as implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices.

Research Interest
