Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Research (JBER) is an open access, peer reviewed, online scientific journal which provides a platform for the publication of the recent advancements in biomedical engineering.
The artificial renal assist device strategy utilizes micromachining techniques to fabricate a biohybrid system able to mimic renal morphology and function. The current trend in kidney bioengineering exploits the structure of the native organ in order to produce a kidney that is ready to be transplanted.
